When Colleen Nick’s six-year-old daughter, Morgan, was kidnapped she experienced firsthand the desperate need for immediate, specialized support. That profound realization sparked the launch of the Morgan Nick Foundation in 1995. Since that day, the foundation has served as a vital lifeline, standing alongside families in crisis to provide the expert guidance and unwavering support they need most.

Our mission is to foster safe communities by educating, empowering, and uniting families to prevent crimes against children and adults. We strive to be the preeminent, trusted resource for law enforcement in the prevention of missing and exploited children, as well as a source for family crisis management when a child or adult is missing.

    • Crisis Intervention: We provide expert, on-site support for families of missing children and missing adults, serving as a dedicated liaison between families, law enforcement, and the media. From coordinating critical search resources to hosting family gathering meetings, we offer families the strength and guidance they need.
  •
    • Education: We believe prevention is key. We provide free, accessible safety skills and abduction prevention training to children, parents, educators, law enforcement, and the communities that surround them.
  •
    • Legislative Advocacy: We fight for the rights of children at the highest levels. Our track record includes helping secure the Federal Mandate for Missing Children, advocating for the  Arkansas Amber Alert, and championing Megan’s Law to ensure community safety through offender registration.
