The second annual Ride 4 Their Lives bicycle event was held on May 20th, 2011. More than 50 riders showed up despite some rain, to make a difference in the lives of children.
Children anxiously awaited their arrival at each school, cheering them on with messages of hope and perseverance to finish the ride. The cyclists in return spent some time with the kids to reinforce the empowering safety information that was presented to them in the weeks preceding the event. To round out the fun, the Jambulance along with the DJ guy provided music, dancing and fun at all of the stops.
The event ended with a picnic lunch for all of these heroes that took time out of their day to show the community that child safety matters to them.
